ETFE Surface: Enhances the Solar Blankets performance and life. Imported from Japan, the EFTE has a better transparency than the normal PET which increases the Solar Blankets Power Output in the same light conditions. The ETFE also increases the life of the solar blanket to more than 10 years.

I did a lot of research before settling on Off Grid Trek (OGT) for several solar blankets. I wanted something compact, durable and, most importantly, reliable in that it would work very well when I needed it. So, for me, these blankets are a great value. To charge one of my Anker Solix powerhouses (C1000), I rigged up two of the 300W blankets in series using the OGT cable that made the connections easy as could be, along with one of the OGT 15' extension cords. Highest rated input to my Anker was an amazing 554 watts in great sun but routinely in the 400W-500W range in good sun. Even in varying cloud cover, watts generated were 100-300W. Very satisfied as I got 500 watt-hours into my Solix in about 75 minutes. Rene was great in helping me work through the best solutions to meet my needs. All products were delivered promptly too. I am much better equipped for power outages with this gear.
I also got several of the 30W solar blankets for other family members (mainly as an emergency or off-grid backup for charging small devices like phones).

I had the powerfilm (different company/panel) in my Amazon cart for more than 5 years. When I finally got ready to pull the trigger I did some research and found these panels and went with them instead.
The price is still pretty steep for my meager wallet, but after seeing other panels drop to 0% energy production from one measly shadow or cloud I knew these were the right ones for me.
This is my first solar panel purchase ever and god willing I will make enough money to buy and set up everything my family needs. 73

I'll be honest, the 'low light conditions' video attached to this product page won me over. i got EXACTLY what i paid for, no marketing nonsense, no time wasting, good, honest "here are some realistic expectations" and i actually got them.
I used to it charge a Montek 1000 which then charged my R/C car batteries. i made a whole day out of playing with my dumb toy and i not only charged two R/C batteries (80W charge rate a piece) but had more than enough to power my 12V fridge (50W) and charge my phone too.
Oh and i ran all of that with JUST the panel (80x2 batteries = 50W fridge = still less power than the panel made). Granted it was pass-through power because the blanket doesn't have a 12V car charge port but that's besides the point.
I am very happy that i can throw this on the roof of my car so quickly (the 300W blanket in particular is too wide to fit on just the windshield even on full size trucks.), and charge everything i need.
I look forward to helping my neighbors this hurricane season so they don't have to chug gas in their cars JUST to charge their phones.

I really like my 220 watt OGT solar blanket but if the 300 watt version was available then I would have purchased it for few hundred $$ more. I need that extra wattage to charge my BLUETTI AC200 MAX even though, on the "PV" setting it does charge well with the 220 watt version. In short GET THE 300 WATT BLANKET.
